Booz Allen Hamilton to support Marine Corps energy objectives under $20.4M contract

Booz Allen Hamilton has won a potentially $20.4 million contract to provide technical, analytical and operational services to the Marine Corps.

The base value of this contract is $8.6 million

Under the contract, the company will support the nine primary objectives of the Marine Corps Installation Command, Marine Corps Installations Energy and Water Management Program and Headquarters Marine Corps Transportation Services, the Defense Department said in a release.

These objectives are:

• Energy strategy implementation
• Renewable energy analysis
• Energy project analysis
• Energy ethos campaign
• Energy information
• Data and information management
• Energy security
• Non-tactical vehicle energy campaign
• Regional energy and water assistance centers across the Marine Corps 

Work will be performed in McLean, Va., and is expected to be completed in March 2017, or September 2018 with options.

Two companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said.
