GDIT to support NAWCAD division under $47.4M contract

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $47.4 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Ship and Air Integrated Warfare Department.

General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $47.4 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Ship and Air Integrated Warfare Department.

The department supports numerous Defense Department and other federal agencies by performing system engineering, design, development, integration, training, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance, life cycle, software development, and logistics support of command & control and communications systems, according to FedBizOpps.

Under the contract, GDIT will provide rapid design, development, customization, manufacturing, fabrication, integration, test and evaluation, installation, certification, maintenance and upgrade, logistic, modernization, and life cycle support of new and/or existing shipboard and airborne systems, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in March 2017.
