Boeing gets $9.3M mod for F-18 program management

Boeing has received a $9.3 million modification of an existing contract for program management and other services related to foreign military sales of the F-18 aircraft.

Boeing Co. has received a $9.3 million modification on an existing contract to provide program management, logistics and engineering services for a variety of foreign governments.

The work will support the F/A-18 A-F aircraft, a fighter, which was purchased by Switzerland, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Australia, Canada and Spain.

The contract combines purchases by these countries and managed through the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
