Force 3 wins $18M BPA to assist with 2020 census

Force 3 has won an $18 million blanket purchase agreement to install and service VMware products to support the U.S. Census Bureau’s mission to transform the way the 2020 census is performed.

The blanket purchase agreement is part of the Census Bureau’s efforts to automate, mobilize and update data collection practices. This includes the expanded use of mobile-optimized websites, websites in diverse languages, electronic data entry for workers collecting information door-to-door and use of GPS data to automate updating demographic information, Force 3 said in a release.

Under the BPA, Force 3 will analyze current virtualization infrastructure operations, recommending changes to existing design, and provide solutions to complex data and design problems.
