Lockheed Martin has won an $80 million option with the Navy to continue its Aegis combat system engineering agent efforts.
Lockheed Martin has won an $80 million option with the Navy to continue its Aegis combat system engineering agent efforts.
Under the contract, Lockheed Martin will develop, integrate, test and deliver computer program baseline advanced capability builds, the Defense Department said in a release.
This will include a replacement and/or upgrade of combat system computing hardware, development engineering products to support ship integration, training and logistics products and field technical support.
Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed in December 2016.
