General Dynamics wins $80M contract to support air defense

General Dynamics Information Technology has won an $80 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Air Defense Communications Service 3 program.

General Dynamics Information Technology has won an $80 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Air Defense Communications Service 3 program.

Under the contract, General Dynamics will provide single system management, maintenance, lifecycle and logistics support of the existing communications systems and subsystems used in NORAD and Pacific Air Forces air defense missions, the company said in a release.

The company will also deliver communications to enable sustained command and control for air defense.
