Leidos scores $661.8M contract to support airborne platform

Leidos has won a $661.8 million contract with the Army to design, produce, integrate and test for the Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) program of record.

Leidos has won a $661.8 million contract with the Army to design, produce, integrate and test for the Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) program of record.

The ARL-E is a manned multi-INT airborne platform that provides a persistent capability to detect, locate, classify/identify and track surface targets in day/night, near-all-weather conditions, with a high degree of timeliness and accuracy, Leidos said in a release.

To complete the work under the contract, the company is partnering with Sierra Nevada Corp. and leading a team consisting of:

  • Argon ST
  • L-3 ComCept
  • Dynamic Aviation
