Alion wins $63M contract to repair, modernize systems in Norfolk

Alion Science and Technology has won a $63 million contract to repair and modernize systems at the Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in Norfolk, Va.

Alion Science and Technology has won a $63 million contract to repair and modernize systems at the Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in Norfolk, Va.

Under the contract, Alion will provide engineering, analytical, logistics and technical support for the submarine’s mechanical and electronics systems at MARMC.

The company will provide equipment and system expertise for an array of needs including troubleshooting, repair, assessment, analysis and inspection.

Additionally, the contract calls for Alion to support in root cause identification, maintenance training and long-term problem resolutions related to the equipment, Alion said in a release.
