Industry day planned for NGEN recompete

The Naval Enterprise Networks is planning an industry day on Nov. 17 to talk to industry about recompeting the current Next Generation Enterprise Network contract.

The Naval Enterprise Networks is planning an industry day on Nov. 17 to talk to industry about its current Next Generation Enterprise Network contract.

The industry day will allow the Navy to gather input from industry that will help the Navy and Marine Corps determine an acquisition approach for any potential NGEN follow-on contracts and other opportunities, NEN said in a release. Hewlett-Packard is the current prime on NGEN, which in June 2018.

Information gathered from this industry day will affect future RFIs, draft RFPs or industry presentations as well as how contract elements like number, timing, contract type, terms and conditions and tasks.

The day will be held on Nov. 17 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Early registration is recommended.
