CACI International has won a $90 million contract to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Public Warning System.

CACI International has won a $90 million contract to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Public Warning System.

The NPWS is a nationwide alert and warning system used to issue national emergency information to all Americans in the event of a national crisis, CACI said in a release.

Under the contract, CACI will provide engineering, network and communications expertise to sustain and modernize NPWS services for enhanced cost efficiency, broadcast reliability, and mission success.

Work will include project management, operations and maintenance, and testing of primary broadcast stations to ensure broadcast effectiveness, resilience, and network security during emergency situations.
