Northrop Grumman has won a $91.7 million contract modification to provide the Navy with engineering, manufacturing and development.

Northrop Grumman has won a $91.7 million contract modification to provide the Navy with engineering, manufacturing and development.

This contract is part of the Navy’s Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program, or SEWIP.

SEWIP is an acquisition program to upgrade the existing AN/SLQ-32(V) electronic warfare system through a modular, open-system approach.

Work will be performed in Linthicum Heights, Md., Goleta, Calif., and Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed in January 2017.
