Infoscitex nabs $24M contract for research tools

Infoscitex Corp. has won a $24 million contract to develop research tools for the Air Force.

Under the contract, the company will develop fundamental research tools in the areas of sensor exploitation, algorithm performance understanding and performance prediction. 

Infoscitex will provide established, enhanced, and clarified sensor exploitation performance benchmarks which will serve both to focus technology development on relevant problems and filter out immature technologies not ready for transition, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in September 2022.
