GDIT wins $8M contract to support U.S. naval ships

General Dynamics Information Technology $8 million contract to provide engineering and technical services to support U.S. naval ships.

Work under this contract will support hull, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment on the ships.

GDIT will provide professional and technical services to upgrade fluid, habitability, and thermal management systems planned for installation or alterations in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center- Ship Systems Engineering Station programs, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be completed by October 2016.
