The Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation is looking for companies who can provide a next generation game training solution.

In the special notice, the agency said that gaming solutions can help soldiers learn through experience, familiarizing them with various tactical scenarios and environments. Such technologies can be used to develop, train and evaluate the decision making processes for the individual leaders as well as enhance teamwork at all levels.

The desired solution, which will take advantage of new gaming technologies available in the commercial market, will be able to train soldiers in a shared environment and provide various levels of immersion.

The solution is supposed to have user-friendly software development, high quality graphics, cross platform functionality, extensions for web-based, console, mobile and augmented reality training, cloud storage and processing, and other levels of interoperability, according to the notice.

The agency released the special notice August 7. Responses to questions are due September 30
