Deal builds mutual federal market reach

Information Innovators Inc. - also know nas Triple-i - and Global Net Service Inc. have joined forces via an acquisition that expands both company's reach in the federal market.

Information Innovators Inc. has acquired Global Net Services Inc. in a deal that expands the ability of both companies to reach the federal market.

GNSI provides IT systems engineering, software development and related health IT services primarily to the Food and Drug Administration.

Information Innovators Inc., which also calls itself Triple-i, provide IT services to agencies such as Veterans Affairs and the Defense, Transportation, Health and Human Services, Commerce, Justice, Homeland Security, Interior and Treasury departments. The company’s capabilities include IT operations and maintenance, enterprise-level IT consolidation, cloud hosting, health IT solutions and cybersecurity.

Triple-I is backed by the private equity group DFW Capital Partners.

“These are critical and compelling times for our government as they move toward a technological convergence,” said Steve Ikirt, CEO of Triple-I in a statement. “Bringing together Triple-i and GNSI enhances our capabilities to best enable and support the solutions that our customers seek to achieve their mission success.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The investment bank KippsDeSanto was GNSI’s financial advisor. Holland & Knight was its legal counsel. Ropes & Gray LLP served as legal counsel to Triple-i.
