AT&T to install secure IP telephony systems under $275M State Department task order

AT&T Government Solutions has won a task order potentially worth $275 million to provide the State Department with secure IP telephony systems to U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide.

The Foreign Post Telephone Replacement Program was awarded under GSA’s Connections II contract vehicle.

Under the contract, AT&T will design and provide the State Department with IP telephony systems for new installations and upgrades for nearly 300 U.S. embassies and consulates around the globe.

It also will stand up the personnel who will install, integrate, test and bring online these systems, the company said in a release.
