Boeing has won an $8.7 million Navy delivery order for Poseidon aircraft software updates.
The delivery order, against a previously-issued purchasing agreement, calls for software updates supporting the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, a modified 737 used for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare, shipping interdiction and electronic signals intelligence.
Funds in the amount of $8.4 million were obligated at the time of the award, $300,000 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
