Battelle Memorial Institute has won a $15 million modification to a Navy environmental technology support contract.
The modification exercises the third option for a support contact for the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center at Port Hueneme, Calif.
The modification brings the contract’s total value to $60 million.
The Columbus, Ohio-based Batelle will be responsible for support services including technology implementation, technical consultation, research and development, administrative support and green and sustainable remediation practices development.
No funds were obligated at the time of the award, and work is expected to be completed by April 2015.
