Alion wins $25M surface warfare support modification

Alion Science and Technology Corp. has won a $25 million modification to a surface warfare support services contract.
The modification entails continued support of SEA21 Surface Warfare Fleet Support, and will include engineering, logistics, technical and planning and readiness services.
Work is expected to be completed by September 2014.
Funds in the amount of $24,762,968 were obligated at the time of the award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
