Northrop wins $750M contract support ballistic missile defense system

Northrop Grumman has won a $750 million contract with the Missile Defense Agency to provide research, development, test and evaluation services to the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
This contract brings the total value of the original contract to $3.3 billion.
These services will be provided in support of the defense system’s command, control, battle management and communications capabilities, information technology, modeling and simulation and other capabilities, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo., Huntsville, Ala., Dahlgren, Va., and other locations around the world.
