Leidos nabs $7.3M Navy contract to support mental health research
Leidos has won a $7.3 million contract to provide research services for behavioral health and epidemiology projects at the Naval Health Research Center’s Behavioral Sciences and Epidemiology Department.
Leidos has won a $7.3 million contract to provide research services to help the military track the mental health of soldiers and sailors.
The contract will support behavioral health and epidemiology projects at the Naval Health Research Center’s Behavioral Sciences and Epidemiology Department.
Under the contract, which is called the Behavioral Epidemiology Assessment Research contract, or BEAR, Leidos will provide research support on the onset of mental disorders in military personnel, health surveillance of combat-deployed personnel, and other research in support of military personnel, the company said in a release.
Work will take place in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2019.
