Leidos has won an $11 million option to provide development of a live virtual and constructive integrated training environment to the Army.

Leidos has won an $11 million option to provide development of a live virtual and constructive integrated training environment to the Army.

Under the option, Leidos will continue to develop and provide the operational training terrain databases, common cultural and moving models, and virtual simulation architecture connectivity to meet warfighters' operational training requirements, the company said in a release.

Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed in February 2014.
