QinetiQ North America names new GM of Defense Solutions unit

Shrum comes to QNA from Camber Corp.

QinetiQ North America has named David Shrum general manager of its Defense Solutions business unit, where he will have management responsibility for its portfolios.

These portfolios include software and systems engineering, aeronautical engineering and logistics and fleet management, the company said.

The unit’s primary customers include the U.S. Army, Marine Corps and Air Force.

Shrum comes to QNA from Camber Corp., where he served as vice president and division manager of modeling, simulation and training.

Before Camber, he served as vice president of land forces at Northrop Grumman’s electronics sector.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from the University of New Haven.
