Cybersecurity is top of mind for U.S. Navy

Cybersecurity is top of mind for the U.S. Navy, especially considering the role it plays in the computer networks and satellites that control the Navy’s coordination of ships, plans and personnel, according to Reuters.

That said, cybersecurity and warfare are on par with a credible nuclear deterrent in the defense priorities of the United States, Reuters quoted Adm. Jonathan Greenert ,chief of naval operations, as saying.

“The future of warfare is bound to start in cyber,” Greenert said.
