CACI closes deal for health care firm
Company bolsters capabilities with Emergint deal

CACI International Inc. has closed its acquisition of Emergint Technologies Inc., in a move to build its health care IT capabilities, expanding its presence in the growing market.
The deal was announced in the middle of November. No financial terms were disclosed.
Emergint Technologies, headquartered in Louisville, Ky., was founded in 1999. It offers a number of IT services to both federal and state customers.
Additionally, the company has contract vehicles with health-focused federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, CACI said.
