DRC wins $19.3M brain injury contracts

Two task orders will help MHS' centers carry out their mission

Dynamics Research Corp. has won two task orders worth $19.3 million to support the Military Health System’s Defense Centers of Excellence.

Under the first order, worth $4.4 million over two years, DRC will identify and develop psychological health and traumatic brain injury treatment best practices over a two-year period.

Under the second, worth $14.9 million, the company will document the results of psychological health and traumatic brain injury clinical and non-clinical programs, support clinical conferences and provide technical assistance programs. This order has a one-year base and four option years, the company said.

The centers of excellence were established in 2007 to improve the lives of U.S. service members, families and veterans through the advancement of excellence in psychological health and traumatic brain injury prevention and care, across the Military Health System.
