Alion Science and Technology has won a $63 million contract to help the Navy Warfare Development Command with modeling and simulation development.

Work will be completed in September 2015 and was awarded under the Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation task order contract

The company said that it has been providing the Navy Warfare Development Command with technical support in the areas of software development, systems integration, analysis and event support for many years. This contact continues Alion's support of the Navy Continuous Training Environment.

It calls for critical modeling and simulation software development, architecture, training systems integration, network engineering and research and development for Fleet Synthetic Training and Joint/Fleet experimentation at the Navy Warfare Development Command.
