Booz Allen signs alliance with RSA

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc and EMC’s security division, RSA, have entered into a consulting and services partnership designed to provide enhanced offerings and make it easier for commercial and public sector customers to use both companies’ information security expertise and specialized technologies.

Announced at RSA’s second Advanced Threats Summit in Washington, D.C., the partnership will have three initial objectives:

  • Develop joint information security service offerings
  • Simplify client engagements for security preparedness and incident response
  • Further assess the commercialization of advanced security technologies, from Booz Allen Hamilton, that play a crucial role in detecting and defeating today’s sophisticated computer attacks

This partnership will combine RSA’s experience in developing computer security software and Booz Allen Hamilton’s expertise in designing and managing security operations and cyber analytics for government and commercial entities, Booz Allen Hamilton said.
