NCI boosts IT services for DOJ security tracking system unit

ITSS-4 task order calls for program management support, application-level system administration, among other services.

NCI Inc. is providing a variety of program and application support services to the Justice Department under a new five-year competitive task order within the IT Support Services (ITSS-4) contract.

The award, worth $5.4 million, represents new business for NCI. It calls for operations and maintenance support for Justice’s Security Tracking and Adjudication Record System (JSTARS).

Specifically, NCI is engaged in program management support, application-level system administration, database administration, external audit support and certification and accreditation support.

Additionally, the company is providing the service desk support to the JSTARS user community, which includes 38 out of 39 DOJ components at this time.

NCI Inc., of Reston, Va., ranks No. 50 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
