CSC names new VP of strategic business development

Computer Sciences Corp. has named Jon Love vice president of strategic business development for its North American Public Sector Defense Group.

He will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the group, including new business, the April 17 CSC announcement said.

Before joining CSC, Love was president of Pitney Bowes Government Solutions Inc.

In that position, he led the worldwide organization to deliver double-digit revenue growth through new contract wins and customer-solution offerings, and used process improvement and innovation investments to significantly increase profitability.

Love has more than 25 years of experience, including executive positions at Robbins-Gioia LLC, Avaya Corp., Lucent Technologies and AT&T.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
