Serco shuffles leadership with eye on company growth
Newly named executive vice president and chief of staff Bo Durickovic will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Ed Casey.
In a series of senior executive moves announced Feb. 10, Bo Durickovic, formerly executive vice president and chief of staff at Serco Inc., has been named president and chief operating officer.
In his new role, Durickovic will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Ed Casey, as he leads Serco’s business operations in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Serco in 2006, Durickovic served in a number of senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and corporate strategy in the energy and technology industries and he began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
“As a result of the growth of the Company and our ambitions to expand Serco into new markets, it is an appropriate time to appoint a chief operating officer,” Casey said in the Feb. 10 statement.
In other management changes, Harry Gatanas, senior vice president of the Defense and Intel Group, has been promoted to executive vice president. He will continue to oversee the Defense and Intel Group.
Mike Plymack, senior vice president of Strategic Programs, has been appointed senior vice president of Serco’s Federal Civilian Services Group, overseeing the business units for Strategy, Learning and Human Capital, Business Process Services, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Canada.
Plymack and Gatanas will report to Durickovic.
