QinetiQ hire charged with expanding client base

QinetiQ North America has hired Jerry Hogge as senior vice president of business development.
In this role, Hogge will be responsible for the acquisition of new business, all aspects of managing and motivating the BD team, and for the strategic and tactical direction of the company's business development activities, according to a Jan. 9 company announcement.
Hogge joins QinetiQ North America from Science Applications International Corp., where he was vice president of strategy and business development.
Prior to joining SAIC, he served as vice president and general manager of Unisys Federal, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, program management and proposal delivery.
He also has held leadership positions at Level 3 Communications, IDT/Winstar Communications and AT&T Federal Systems.
Hogge has a Juris Doctor degree in intellectual property law from George Mason University School of Law, and a Master of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.
