Renamed small biz offers feds tablet computing solutions

Brubaker Consulting Service, a woman-owned small business in Shepherdstown, W. Va., has become Silver Lining, a provider of tablet computing solutions for the education, healthcare and public sector markets, according to an Oct. 17 company news release.
Silver Lining employees include subject matter experts in public sector solutions development, according to CEO Carolyn Brubaker,
“By taking advantage of the convergence of tablet devices, wireless broadband and cloud computing, we can offer customers innovative, cost-effective tools that can transform how we live, work and learn,” Brubaker said .
The new company plans to offer Windows-based tablet solutions and will digitize and optimize government business processes via common tablet platforms.
