BAE names replacement for retiring government relations chief

BAE Systems Inc. has named Erin Moseley as senior vice president for government relations succeeding Bob Fitch, who is retiring.

BAE Systems Inc. has named Erin Moseley as senior vice president for government relations effective on July 11.

She will succeed Bob Fitch, who announced in April his plans to retire, BAE Systems announced on July 6.

Moseley will be responsible for all government relations activities for the company’s U.S. home market, overseeing BAE Systems’ relationships with members of Congress, the Defense Department and other cabinet-level organizations.

She also will oversee the organization’s government relations staffs working with state government leaders.

Moseley most recently served as president of Principled Strategic LLC, a consulting firm she founded in Washington, D.C.

Previously she held senior government relations positions at Lockheed Martin Corp. and General Dynamics Corp., and she served as managing director of Porton Capital Washington.

She began her career with the Department of Energy as an internal safeguards analyst for nuclear weapons and material.
