Deltek Inc. has hired Catherine Morales as its new executive vice president and general manager of its Input market research business.
Morales comes to Deltek from Reed Elsevier where she worked on Elsevier Science and Technology and LexisNexis. She also was an executive CGI Group and its predecessor company American Management Systems.
Deltek acquired Input last year and its management team led by Kevin Plexico, senior vice president, research and analysis services, will remain in place, a Deltek spokesman said.
“We are very pleased to welcome Catherine to our leadership team,” said Kevin Parker, president and CEO of Deltek. “Catherine's unique experience managing global, subscription-based businesses and her significant experience working for leading government contractors makes her an ideal fit to lead the Input team at Deltek.”
Morales will be responsible for growing sales and subscriptions, expanding Input's portfolio and entering new markets and verticals, Deltek officials said.
As senior vice president, government markets at Elsevier, she developed products to help government researchers. At LexisNexis, Morales served as general manager of business units that provided online access to government, academic, and information professionals.
