Contract is first award under NASA's huge infrastructure integration program

Science Applications International Corp. won a $321.2 million contract from NASA to support the NASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center.

SAIC will provide services to operate and maintain NASA’s enterprise application systems that support all ten NASA field centers, NASA headquarters in Washington, and the NASA shared services center in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Countdown to NASA's $4B IT consolidation

The contract is part of the NASA Information Technology Infrastructure Integration Program, or I3P, which includes several other contracts. The SAIC award is the first contract award in this program, which has a $4 billion ceiling.

The base value of SAIC’s contract is $85.6 million, but if all options are exercised, the value of the five-year, firm-fixed price contract rises to $321.2 million.
