NVTC unveils new board of directors

Donna Morea, president of CGI U.S. and India, will chair the newly formed entity

Donna Morea, president of CGI U.S. and India, will chair the newly formed board of directors of the Northern Virginia Technology Council.

In addition to Morea, Chris Simmons, managing partner for the Washington area at PricewaterhouseCoopers, was elected treasurer, and Evan Weisel, principal and co-founder of Welz & Weisel Communications Inc., was elected public relations adviser.

The board has 22 new and returning members, including:

John Allen, co-head of the defense and government services group at BB&T Capital Markets|Windsor Group

John Becker, chief executive officer of Approva Corp.

Doug Boggs, partner at Patton Boggs

Mike Bradshaw, director of Google Federal at Google Inc.

Brooke Coburn, managing director and head of Carlyle Venture Partners

Aimee Daniels, executive vice president and market president mid-Atlantic region at HSBC Bank

Enrico Della Corna, senior vice president and group manager at PNC Bank

Joe Doherty, executive vice president and group president at ACS Government Solutions

Nelson Ford, president and CEO of LMI

Jeff Ganek, chairman and CEO of NeuStar

Andy Harrs, principal at Deloitte

Ray Johnson, senior vice president and chief technology officer at Lockheed Martin Corp.

Carleton Jones, president and vice chairman of Indus Corp.

Curt Kolcun, vice president U.S. Public Sector at Microsoft Corp.

Mark McLaughlin, president and chief operating officer at VeriSign

Kevin McNerney, senior client partner and North America regional market leader at Korn/Ferry International

Stacy Mendler, COO of Alion Science and Technology Corp.
