CSD to aid tech transformation at Wright-Patterson

Computer System Designers, also known as I.S. Technologies LLC, has won an information technology improvement contract at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio valued at more than $32 million over four years.

Under the contract, CSD will plan and centralize IT service desk support, client support administrators and functional systems administrator duties under the direction of the Air Force’s 88th Communications Group. 

Key subcontractor Wyle Information Systems LLC will provide service desk support, receipt, configuration, deployment of computers, laptops, peripherals and printers. Wyle also will provide systems application support connected to the Wright-Patterson network's backbone and the Air Force wireless system support.

The improvement piece of the contract includes consolidation of several service desks and support contracts from Wright-Patterson. The contract covers all components to support integrated IT, including infrastructure, enterprise application services, and IT management services. It also provides for integration of current and future technologies over the life of the contract.

CSD is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla. Wyle is based in McLean, Va.
