CACI International Inc. will continue to support the Defense Department's Defense Security Services (DSS) agency under a new $32 million contract.
CACI will provide professional management, technical and administrative services to DSS, company officials said April 1.
CACI will provide administrative support to DSS, as well as a range of services that include financial management and contracts management, the officials said. The company will provide the assistance at 18 DSS offices throughout the United States. The contract has one base year and three option years.
DSS is responsible for protecting national security assets and information in the hands of industry as part of the National Industrial Security Program. The agency also manages personnel security investigations, supervises industrial security at contractor facilities and performs security education and awareness training.
CACI, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
