Rising Star: Carlos Laureano

General Dynamics Corp. and

Laureano is deployed with the Army at the Regional
Computer Emergency Response Team, Southwest
Asia. It is his second deployment in the region.
When working for General
Dynamics, he is an information
security engineer, analyzing new
Defense Department systems for
security risks.

Laureano is assisting vulnerability
assessment analysts and managing 14 military and
13 contractor employees.

ability in his civilian job to help DOD customers see
a wider range of cyberthreats.
