Suss hires two from EDS

Suss Consulting has picked up a pair of EDS Corp. veterans as new consultants focused on the government information technology space.

Don Scott was a senior vice president at EDS Government Solutions. He now will be an executive consultant at Suss.

The Jenkintown, Pa., consulting firm also has hired George Sibley, an account executive at EDS, as a lead consultant.

"Don Scott is a pillar in the federal information technology community and he has had a very successful career in both industry and government," said Warren Suss, president at Suss Consulting.

In addition to working at EDS, Scott also was senior manager of the General Services Administration's FTS 2000. He has been a contractor at the Atomic Energy Commission and has worked in GTE Government Systems' government relations office.

Sibley has 37 years' experience working in the government IT market.

"George brings extensive experience in capturing and managing large complex military programs," Suss said.

Sibley has spent most of his career at EDS, mostly overseeing projects involving the Navy. He served on Navy submarines before joining EDS.
