SRA International nabs $9.8M SBA task order

The company will provide commercial product evaluation and implementation services to assist the Small Business Administration in developing a disaster credit management system.

SRA International Inc. won a $9.8 million contract to provide commercial product evaluation and implementation services to assist the Small Business Administration in developing a disaster credit management system.

SBA plays a major role in the government's disaster relief efforts by making low-interest recovery loans to homeowners and businesses. The Office of Disaster Assistance has started a disaster credit management modernization initiative to improve the efficiency, quality and timeliness of loan processing.

Under the third phase of this initiative, SRA will assist SBA in developing a new electronic loan application and processing system that will support workflow management, electronic file management and document generation functions.

SRA's services will evaluate and recommend an off-the-shelf application solution, implement it and train users.

SRA's team includes Unisys Corp. of Blue Bell, Pa., DataEquip Inc. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Beckett Consulting, Inc. of Heathsville, Va. The work was awarded under the General Services Administration's Millennia Lite contract.
