Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles, won a five-year, $300 million contract to provide technical and management support to the Army Land Information Warfare Activity.

Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles, won a five-year, $300 million contract to provide technical and management support to the Army Land Information Warfare Activity.Northrop Grumman Information Technology will provide professional services and engineering support for the Army's worldwide information operations mission, including acquiring, protecting, managing and exploiting information for the benefit of combat operations. This continues Northrop Grumman IT's support to the Army's computer emergency response teams and vulnerability assessment mission.The company will add about 220 jobs. The contract consolidates six previous contracts. The contract supports Army units within the Pacific , European, Southern and Central commands and the continental United States. Work on the contract will be performed at a Northrop Grumman IT facility in northern Virginia.
