SecureInfo wins VA contract

A team led by San Antonio-based SecureInfo Corp. won a $103 million contract from Veterans Affairs to run an incident response operations center.

The VA Security Team, or VAST, includes Adtech Systems Inc., San Antonio; Applied Engineering Management Corp., Chantilly, Va.; DSD Laboratories Inc., Sudbury, Mass.; Seidcon Inc., Oceanside, Calif.; and TeamBI Solutions Inc., Falls Church, Va.

VAST will develop and run a response center to detect and respond to threats of all VA-affiliated networks as well as share useful information with other agencies.

The initial contract calls for services valued at $103 million over the 11-year term of the agreement. However, additional services could bring the long-term value to more than $250 million.
