Anteon wins $10 million Army contract

Anteon International Corp. announced Aug. 19 that it won a five-year contract, valued at $10.8 million, to provide information technology support services for the Army Network Engineering and Telecommunications Activity.

Anteon, an information technology and systems integration firm in Fairfax, Va., said it will provide IT services primarily in support of information management system upgrades and installations at various overseas Army locations.

Earlier this month, the company announced that it won two contracts worth nearly $35 million for a range of technical and engineering services to the Naval Sea Systems Command and the Air Force Sensors Technology Applications, Development and Evaluation program.

Anteon, which went public in March, had revenue of $715 million in 2001 and employs almost 5,500 people worldwide.
