Veridian sees STARS

<FONT SIZE=2>&#009;Veridian Corp. won a five-year contract worth $154.4 million for scientific, technical, administrative, research, development, test and evaluation services, or STARS, from the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake and Point Mugu, Calif. </FONT>

Veridian Corp. won a five-year contract worth $154.4 million for scientific, technical, administrative, research, development, test and evaluation services, or STARS, from the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake and Point Mugu, Calif.

The contract calls for Arlington, Va.-based Veridian to support the Navy with a wide range of scientific and technical services involving information technology and network infrastructure relating to the service's development of weapons systems.

Approximately 80 percent of the work will be performed at China Lake, the rest at Point Mugu. The project is expected to begin in October and finish in September 2007.
