IRS seeks COTS software, support

The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a contract for PC-based, commercial, off-the-shelf actuarial software and support services, including software maintenance, technical support services, professional actuarial services and training.

The purpose of this acquisition is to assist the IRS large and midsize business division with audits of life insurance companies. The solicitation number is TIRNO-

02-R-00029 at www.procurement.irs.treas.gov/. All vendors who download a copy of the solicitation and wish to be included on the bidders list must register by fax at (202) 283-0610. Registration should include only the company name, address and point of contact. Responses are due by Aug. 13.
