Four companies have won seats on the Department of Veterans Affairs' $1.3 billion Procurement of Computer Hardware and Software-2 contract vehicle, known as Peaches.

Four companies have won seats on the Department of Veterans Affairs' $1.3 billion Procurement of Computer Hardware and Software-2 contract vehicle, known as Peaches.

The winners are Compaq Computer Corp., Houston; GTSI Corp., Chantilly, Va.; MicronPC LLC, Nampa, Idaho; and PlanetGov Inc., Fairfax, Va. They will compete for task orders to provide hardware and software products, architectural support and maintenance and support.

The contract is for one year with options for four one-year extensions.
