The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in March will release a request for proposals for the Taiwan Advanced Tactical Data Link System. The acquisition includes design and development of hardware and software, integration, test, installation and training for numerous platforms and systems. N00039-02-R-0001.The Army Training and Doctrine Command is looking for information on a stationary identification scanning device to be used at the entrance to military bases and other secured areas. This device must be able to read information via bar code at a distance of up to two feet; be able to televise an image of the individual presenting the card and the bar code data; feed the data to a central control panel.
