KPMG, Titan Share Contract Win

KPMG Consulting Inc., McLean, Va., and Titan Systems Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Titan Corp., San Diego, have each won a blanket purchase agreement for program management support services for the Army Program Executive Office for Standard Army Management Information Systems, or PEO STAMIS, the companies announced.

The estimated value of the two indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity agreements is $277 million over seven years if all options are exercised.

KPMG Consulting and Titan will compete with each other to provide goods and services. The companies will provide support services in process, financial and logistic management and systems integration services.

Located in Fort Belvoir, Va., the office develops information technology systems for the Army. At present, the office manages more than 19 major programs that support recruiting and training, providing and maintaining equipment, planning for the movement of supplies and tracking Army personnel.
